Randomiser is a standalone Windows Utility for Poser. This utility is meant as a development tool for makers of Poser content. Simply put, this utility reads cr2 files and creates random settings for morph targets in both fc2 and pz2 (MOR) formats.
Any cr2 files containing morphs can be read, any body parts containing morphs can be randomized. For example: you have a cr2 of a figure to which you have added many morph targets of your own creation. This cr2 file can be read, and random faces or bodies created for it. By utilizing morph mirroring even individual body parts' morphs can be used in concert without setting up Full Body Morphs.
Why is Randomiser a useful program?
Because with the number and variety of morphs available on newer figures the lack in variation of characters made lies not in the model but in the user. No human is going to go and minutely change settings for all 105 morph targets on a model. However, this program will allow the spontaneity of random creation and hopefully spark the artist's own creativity. (plus some of the variations are quite funny)With a well tuned definitions (RMD) file it is quite easy to: create multiple faces with a dominant type like Asian or Old, make new faces using custom morphs, create expressions, create targeted settings for specific features like noses or eyes, 'tween' character faces, in fact the possibilities are endless.
How does it work?
The cr2 file (with morphs loaded) is read by the program. It then creates an MMD (Master Morph Directory) which is a list of every Actor in the figure, and all the morphs on each Actor, including the FBM's in the Body Channel. The MMD is a master file that will then be used to create the editable RMD files. The RMD file controls the randomization of the morph target settings. Where it goes from there? its up to the user. Some basic RMD files for common Poser figures have been supplied to get you started.
Note: No files created by this program contain any copyrighted mesh or other data
Note: the Poser5 crz format is NOT yet supported. However, Poser5 figures saved as cr2 format can be read and randomized
Note: Models with Geometry Swapping are currently not supported
Note: Any content you make with this program is yours. So any face or body settings you create are yours to sell, give away or whatever.
Minimum requirements: Pentium 200, Windows 95 or higher.

These downloads are for use with Randomiser. If you do not have this program these files will not benefit you in any way. However users of Randomiser can use these MD's and RMD's to create various randomized setting files for many common models. Some models have more available RMD/MMD's than others. Please let us know if there are any models or RMD's you think would be useful to have on this page.
Feel free to modify and distribute RMD's found on this page. Remember, the parent MMD must be supplied as well for the file to work properly.
Please note, many of these ship with the program. We have supplied them here in case you manage to change something by accident and want the 'default' settings back.
